Infrared heats you rather than the room: 45-60 °C, 1.5 to 2.5 kW from an ordinary plug, ready in twelve to fifteen minutes. No water on stones, no löyly. We do not sell it as a Finnish sauna.
What it gives you is a room you can have in a flat: no application, no flue, no waterproofing, no drain, and it comes apart and moves when the lease does.
Full-spectrum carbon panels front, back and under the bench, with low-EMF wiring. Ask for the panel spec sheet before you buy anything infrared from anyone — the panels are close to your skin for half an hour at a time.
At around 2 kW an infrared cabin is comfortably within what a domestic inverter and battery system will carry, which in this country is a practical advantage. Scheduled into a sunny afternoon it runs on your own generation entirely.
It is a different thing. If you have the power and the space, build the real cabin. If you do not, an infrared cabin you use beats a sauna you cannot install.
