Sauna and spa manufacturer since 1987, building across Africa
We are a manufacturer and design studio, not a reseller. We survey the site, draw the room, build it in our own factory, ship it and install it with our own crew — then come back to service it. Eight African countries, one standard, eight specifications.
What we make
Saunas from a two-person cabin to a fourteen-seat commercial tier. Steam rooms and, in North Africa, hammams with a heated slab. Cold plunge tubs, plunge pools and carved stone basins. Infrared cabins. Salt walls and snow rooms for resort suites. And the plant that runs all of it: heaters, generators, chillers, filtration and the controls that sequence them.
Cabins, benches, marble and mosaic are produced in-house in Istanbul. Electrical equipment is certified to CE / EN 60335, TÜV and GS, and since 2015 we have been an official seller of EOS, Sentiotec, Wellis and wedi.
Two things we hand to named specialists and never do ourselves: the electrical connection, and the structural engineer's opinion wherever something heavy is going onto a suspended slab, a terrace or a hillside frame. Both come back to you signed.
Forty years of the same work
Our factory opened in 1987, which makes 2026 its fortieth year. Since then: 1,450 completed projects in more than 35 countries on four continents, 220 of them hotel spas and 680 private residences. Seventy-eight per cent of clients come back for another project, and that is the figure we are proudest of.
Hotel spa floors have gone to brands including Hilton, Hyatt, Sofitel, Rixos, Kempinski and the Ritz-Carlton in Istanbul. Besides the Istanbul headquarters we run offices in Dubai and Qatar and branches in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany and the USA; African projects are managed from Dubai.
Africa added four problems to what the Gulf had already taught us. Altitude, which changes the heater calculation from Nairobi to the Ngorongoro rim. Dust, which blankets a condenser in the harmattan and in the dry season. Island and overland logistics, where a forgotten bracket is a fortnight rather than an hour. And supply that cannot be assumed, which is why load sequencing is in our drawings rather than in a footnote.
Our work in Africa so far
In Algiers, the Sofitel Thalassa (2022): sauna, steam room, hammam and a salt wall on a seawater-therapy floor, and before it the El Aurassi and KBF hotels (2021). In Tororo, eastern Uganda, we fitted the Rock Classic Hotel's sauna and wet areas. In Libya, residential and commercial projects in Tripoli and Benghazi.
In Lagos, a private villa sauna in Ikoyi (2025), built in the factory, shipped as a complete kit and installed on site by our crew. Our most recent African order came in July 2026 from Addis Ababa: forty-seven sauna cabins for a 774-square-metre spa run by an international five-star brand, now in production.
The standard that travels
Heaters sized from the true insulated volume, adjusted for the height of the site and for every square metre of glass, with the working printed in the quote. Chillers sized against the ambient at your site rather than a temperate chart, because undersizing is the commonest chiller fault on this continent.
End grain sealed in the factory as it is cut, before any panel goes together. A continuous vapour barrier with a battened air gap behind the lining. Drained and vented cavities rather than sealed ones. A ventilated void under every outdoor cabin. A membrane detailed into the existing structure at every junction, and extract ducted genuinely outside rather than into a ceiling void.
And a labelled box of the parts most likely to fail — heating element, thermostat, filter cartridge, hose seals, stainless fixings — left on site at handover. On the mainland it is a convenience. On Pemba, La Digue or a fly-in camp it is the difference between ten minutes and three weeks.
What we will tell you not to buy
A plunge without a chiller anywhere the nights do not genuinely do the work. A 9 kW heater on an inverter that cannot carry it. Plated fixings anywhere near an African coast. A steam generator specified without testing your borehole. A large suite a property cannot staff. And anything holding water on a structure nobody has assessed — that last one is a refusal rather than advice.
Saying so costs us a few sales a year and has never cost us a client. It is also part of why so many of them come back to us for the second property.
How we deliver to each country
There is one factory, not eight. Each cabin is made in Istanbul and put together there once to be checked; it is then numbered, crated with everything needed to install it and shipped to you with the customs paperwork handled. It lands at the port listed below and our own crew installs and commissions it; the project itself is run from our Dubai office.
