Saunas, steam rooms and cold plunges for Tanzania, from a coral plunge on a Michamvi deck to a steam room inside a Stone Town house and a thermal deck at a Serengeti camp. Each one is built in our own Istanbul factory and put together there once before shipping; it clears customs in Dar es Salaam, crosses to Zanzibar if it has to, and is fitted by our own installers.
A4 stainless on every fixing, end grain sealed before the cabin leaves the factory, a ventilated gap beneath it and a filtered cabinet for the chiller. Crates cross from Dar es Salaam to Malindi port in one consolidated load, and in Stone Town they finish the journey on foot.
Ventilation is the main design decision on the mainland coast. Deliveries are the easiest in the country: crates clear customs in the city, so a Dar project waits on the electrician and the tiler rather than on shipping.
At Arusha and on the Ngorongoro rim a heater sized from a sea-level chart stalls short of temperature. We correct it for the lodge's actual elevation — and often remove the chiller, because highland nights hold a lidded plunge cold by themselves.

Before shipping, each Tanzanian order is assembled in full on the factory floor, checked, then taken apart, labelled and crated with its fixings and spares. We handle customs at Dar es Salaam, state Incoterms at the outset and arrange the crossing to Zanzibar; the people who assemble it on site are our own installers, who also commission it and teach your staff to run it.

Yes. The heater warms up in the middle of the day when the panels have spare output, it never starts at the same moment as the chiller, and the tub is sized to the water the camp can spare.
A single sauna or steam room spends six to ten weeks in production once you sign off the drawing; a whole villa spa takes twelve to sixteen. Add the voyage to Dar es Salaam and any crossing. Hotel work is tied to the contractor's schedule.
