Water
The cold plunge
The hard half in Africa. Almost nowhere on this continent cools to plunge temperature by itself, so we insulate the shell and the base, fit a lid people will actually close, design shade into the layout — and then size the chiller for real ambient rather than a temperate chart.
Steam
The steam room and the hammam
A continuous membrane, a screed falling to the drain, a pitched or domed ceiling and a humidistat extract ducted genuinely outside. In North Africa it becomes a hammam with a heated slab, which is a building type this continent already owns.
Stone
The plinth and the basin
Granite in the Seychelles, volcanic basalt in Mauritius and Kenya, coral stone on Zanzibar, alabaster in Egypt, terrazzo in Lagos, and marble and mosaic from our own factory floor. The stone is the finish and the mass; the insulation and the waterproofing sit behind it.
Timber
The cabin itself
Thermo-treated boards cut and end-sealed on our factory floor, the whole cabin stood up once to prove every joint closes, then labelled and packed. An hour of checking in Istanbul saves a fortnight of delay on an island.

Climate decides the metal, not the price list
A4 stainless throughout on any coast, sealed end grain before assembly, ventilated voids and drained cavities where nothing dries on its own. Dust packages where the harmattan and the dry season blanket a condenser. Inland at altitude, none of that — and a different heater instead.
Altitude cuts both ways, and we show both
Nairobi at 1,795 m and the Ngorongoro rim at roughly 2,300 m need a heater sized up, because thinner air carries less heat per kilowatt. The same altitude means cold nights, so the plunge needs a smaller machine or none at all. Both lines appear in the quote.
Power in Africa is a design input, not a socket
In Nigeria and at every off-grid camp the heater and the chiller are two large loads placed into an inverter, battery and generator system: scheduled circuits, no coincident starts, and the essential board verified physically rather than assumed.
Access is priced as its own line
Hand carry through Stone Town's lanes, forty steps between granite boulders above Glacis, a service lift in a Lagos tower, a barge to Praslin, a light aircraft to a bush camp. We survey the route before we quote and size the crates and panels to the tightest turn on it.
Who builds it
One factory since 1987, our own crew on your site
We are a manufacturer, not a reseller. Cabins, benches, marble and mosaic are made in-house at our factory in Istanbul, which has built saunas and spas since 1987 under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system. No cabin leaves until it has been fully assembled and inspected there; it is then labelled piece by piece and packed with its own fixings, seals and a few spares, so a client's terrace is never where a problem is first found.
From there it is door-to-door export: customs handled, Incoterms stated before you sign, and our own installation crew on site to install, test, commission and train your staff. African projects are managed from our Dubai office. The heaters and controls we fit are CE, EN 60335, TÜV and GS certified, and we have sold EOS, Sentiotec, Wellis and wedi as an official partner since 2015.
Behind it is a long record: 1,450 finished projects across more than 35 countries — 680 private homes and 220 hotel spas, the latter for names such as Hilton, Hyatt, Sofitel, Rixos and Kempinski. Seventy-eight per cent of our clients return with another project.
Recent work in Africa. Lagos: a villa sauna in Ikoyi, finished in 2025, which left the factory as a complete kit and was assembled on site by our crew. Algiers: the Sofitel Thalassa's seawater-therapy floor in 2022 — sauna, steam room, hammam, salt wall — after the El Aurassi and KBF hotels in 2021. Uganda: the Rock Classic Hotel in Tororo. Libya: homes and commercial buildings in Tripoli and Benghazi. And on the factory floor right now, 47 sauna cabins for a five-star international hotel brand's 774 m² spa in Addis Ababa.
Every quote is itemised position by position: the heater and the calculation behind it, the chiller against the ambient at your site, the exposure package, freight and access, the service interval. When salt, a sea crossing, a weak slab or a patchy supply is what drives your price up, the quote shows exactly which line it sits on.
How a project runs
Four stages, one payment schedule
Survey, on site or by video
We measure on site, or you walk us round on a video call: the ground, the way in from the road, the board or the inverter, any lift, and the water wherever a steam room is planned.
Drawing and itemised quote
A dimensioned drawing, the heater calculation with any altitude correction, the chiller sized against real ambient, and a position-by-position price in USD or EUR with freight, access and the exposure package on their own lines.
Factory build and shipping
Your builder does the first fix — drain, extract, cable, circuits — while the room is made, dry-assembled and checked in our factory, then crated and shipped to your port. Allow six to ten weeks a room from drawing sign-off, then the voyage.
Installation, handover and service
Our own crew installs and commissions with a thermometer and a stopwatch, trains staff on commercial work and leaves a spares kit with part numbers. Every installation carries a 24-month warranty; maintenance contracts are available.
Payment: 40% on order, 40% before shipping, 20% on commissioning. Contracts and invoices in USD or EUR.

Asked before every project
Do you really build in all eight countries?
Yes, and the model is the same in each. Every room is manufactured and test-assembled in Istanbul, cleared through that country's own port with customs taken care of, and fitted by our installation team. We do not keep local showrooms; the survey is done on site or by video call, and each country page lists its cities and the specification that applies there.
Why is there no single price list?
Because the same cabin costs different money in eight currencies with different freight, duty and access. We publish indicative USD bands for the continent and a local-currency table on every country page, and the quote you get is itemised for your own site.
Do I really need a cold plunge chiller?
In Lagos, Zanzibar, the Seychelles, Mauritius and on any African coast, yes, in every month. In Nairobi a smaller one. On the Ngorongoro rim usually none at all, and we will tell you that rather than sell you a compressor.
Can this run without a reliable grid?
That is the normal case rather than the exception. We size the heater and the chiller into your inverter, batteries, solar and generator, sequence them so they never start together, and verify which circuits the changeover actually feeds.
How long does a project take?
A single sauna or steam room: six to ten weeks between signing off the drawing and switching it on, not counting the voyage. A complete villa spa package needs twelve to sixteen weeks, and hotel work follows the construction programme.
What is the warranty and the service interval?
Twenty-four months on the installation, with heaters and chillers also registered under their makers' warranties. We service coastal and dusty sites every three months and inland ones twice a year, and a maintenance contract can be agreed together with the installation.
Do you work with hotels and developers?
Hotels are a large part of our history: 220 hotel spa projects for brands including Hilton, Hyatt, Sofitel, Rixos and Kempinski. On this continent that means the Sofitel Thalassa and El Aurassi in Algiers, and a 47-cabin spa now in production for a five-star brand in Addis Ababa. Commercial suites get duplicated plant, a documented water regime and staff training.
What is the payment schedule?
