Buying an ice bath for a hot country is really buying a small refrigeration system with a tub attached. On most of this continent it is the machine, not the tub, that decides whether the water is still cold at six in the evening.

Coast, lowland or highland: does it need a chiller?
On the coast and in the lowlands — Lagos, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Mahé, Grand Baie, Hurghada, Diani — yes, in every month of the year. The night air never drops far enough to pull the water down, so an unchilled tub settles at air temperature: pleasant, but not cold, and of no use for recovery.
In the highlands the picture flips. Nairobi, the Atlas, the Highveld in winter and above all the Ngorongoro rim have nights cold enough for a shaded, insulated, lidded tub to sit at 14–18 °C with little or no help. There we often quote a small chiller or none at all, and tell you so.

Whether you want a single ice bath for sale for a terrace or a row of tubs for a club, the price moves with the same three things: volume, how cold you want it, and how much sun reaches it.
What makes one tub cheaper to run than another
Put it in the shade. A tub under trees or a solid pergola gains a fraction of the heat of one on a sunny deck, and that difference is paid, or saved, every month for as long as it stands.
Insulate underneath as well as around. The base sits on a slab that has been baking all day; without insulation there the chiller is cooling concrete.
Close the lid. It stops evaporation, keeps the sun off the water and lets the tub coast through the night, so the compressor starts each morning close to setpoint. We make ours light enough to lift with one hand, because a heavy lid stays open. The longer argument is in cold water in hot countries.
Water that stays clear in the heat
Warm surroundings are ideal for anything that wants to grow in water, so every tub we supply circulates through a cartridge filter and an ozone or UV stage. A shower by the steps keeps sunscreen and sweat out, and a domestic tub treated this way needs a fresh fill every four to eight weeks rather than every week.
Gyms, clubs and hotels get the same equipment plus a written cleaning rota with a named person on it; a sheet on the wall does more for shared water than any upgrade.
Ordering, delivery and warranty
Tub, chiller and plant are assembled and tested together in our Istanbul factory, then crated and exported to your port with customs handled; our own crew installs and commissions on site. Allow six to ten weeks after drawing approval, plus shipping. Everything carries a 24-month warranty.
