Saunas and cold water anchored for a Mauritian coast — a teak cabin on a lagoon deck in Tamarin, a carved basalt plunge in a Black River garden, a thermal suite for a resort at Belle Mare. Each room is drawn for its exposure, built and dry-assembled in our Istanbul factory, shipped to Port Louis and installed by our own crew, tied down to engineer-signed details and specified in A4 stainless.
Cyclone season runs roughly November to May. A cabin is anchored on a continuous load path — roof to wall, wall to frame, frame to steel, steel to concrete — with straps and threaded rod rather than weight, and engineer-signed where exposure warrants it. Our cyclone tie-down work is priced as its own line so you can see what exposure costs.
Warm air close to saturation will not dry a wet room overnight. Every enclosed room gets ducted mechanical extract on a humidistat, every cabin sits on a ventilated void, and every vapour barrier is continuous with sealed penetrations. A gap traps moisture in the wall, which is worse than no barrier.
There is no cool season to help, so efficiency comes from insulation, a lid people will lift and shade. Our cold plunge tubs and basalt basins are built that way before any compressor is chosen.

The quality system is ISO 9001:2015, and heaters carry CE / EN 60335, TÜV and GS marks.
Every cabin is dry-assembled and checked in the factory, then numbered and crated with its fixings, seals and a spares allowance. While the crates are at sea to Port Louis, the deck, anchorage pads, drainage and cable are prepared on site; our own crew then installs, commissions and trains the caretaker or spa team.

Read more →Anchored properly, yes. The tie-down detail is the first thing we draw, not the last, and on exposed sites an engineer signs it. Anchorage can also be retrofitted to installations that never had any.
On this island, yes, every month of the year. There is no cool season to lean on, so insulation, a lid and shade decide how hard the chiller works.
Not if it is designed for it: humidistat-controlled extract that runs unattended, a written shutdown routine, a caretaker checklist and, if you want it, remote temperature and leak alarms to your phone.
Continuous humidity and salt. There is no dry month in which metal or timber gets a rest, so a six-monthly interval does not survive here.
Every room ships with a spares allowance, and we leave a kit on site with part numbers on the lid. A shipment to Port Louis takes weeks and a guest will not wait.
6–10 weeks from drawing approval for a single sauna or steam room, plus the sea passage to Port Louis; 12–16 weeks for a complete villa suite. Resorts follow their construction programme.
