Hygiene first, because the climate is against you

Warm ambient accelerates everything that grows in water. Circulation, cartridge filtration and an ozone or UV stage are mandatory, not optional, and a rinse shower at the entry point turns a weekly water change into a monthly one.

A visible cleaning schedule with a name on it does more for water quality than any piece of equipment.

Throughput

Two to four minutes in the water plus changeover gives roughly ten to fifteen people per tub per hour. Size on the evening peak rather than the membership list, and expect to need one more tub than first imagined.

Floor and structure

Falls to a channel drain, a non-slip surface that survives chlorine, and a towel point that keeps wet feet off the gym floor. A 900-litre tub is nearly a tonne before anyone is in it, so on a suspended floor we ask for the slab detail before quoting.
