Forest damp plus coastal salt

Indigenous forest holds moisture the way Nyungwe or the Knysna valleys do, and the coast adds salt. Together they demand thermo-treated or charred timber, A4 stainless, a generous drained cavity and humidistat-controlled extract on anything enclosed.

Distance, planned around

Everything is prefabricated in Cape Town and delivered in one planned load, with spares: an element, a thermostat, a cartridge, a pump seal. We are not driving back for a bracket.

Service visits are scheduled in blocks so several properties on the route share the travel, and we leave a written spares list with part numbers so a local team can handle common failures.

Guesthouses and lodges

Much of the work here is small hospitality. One well-built sauna and a cold plunge, correctly documented and easy to clean, does more for a six-room guesthouse than a complicated circuit nobody has time to run.
