What it is and is not

Infrared heats you rather than the room: 45-60 °C, 1.5 to 2.5 kW from an ordinary socket, ready in twelve to fifteen minutes. No water on stones, no löyly, none of the ritual.

What it gives you here is no fixing to the building, no drainage, no supply upgrade, no body corporate submission and no argument with a landlord.

Humidity and electronics

The one thing it dislikes is being shut in a damp unventilated room for months, which in this climate is a real scenario for a holiday property. We site them in ventilated spaces, specify a cover for seasonal use and put them into the shutdown routine.

Where it goes

The end of a bedroom, a wide corridor, or a covered terrace with a sheltered socket. Not open to salt air, and not in a room that stays closed all season.
