Gentler ground, ordinary building

Plots here are frequently level enough for a conventional plinth, access is usually possible to the house, and a family-scale installation is a straightforward build. After Glacis this feels almost easy, and the price reflects it.

It is also where we do most of our domestic work rather than resort work, which means honest budgets, compact cabins and a real conversation about running costs before anyone commits.

South-east trades

This coast catches the south-east trades from roughly May to October: steady wind, more spray than the sheltered bays, and welcome cooling in the evening. We orient decks so the wind helps rather than blowing straight through an open sauna door, and fix everything for uplift.

Guesthouses

Small guesthouses here compete with large resorts on the other coast, and a good plunge plus a compact sauna is a real differentiator at a fraction of a resort suite's cost. We size those installations on the busiest evening rather than on the room count.
