Recovery zones for gyms and padel clubs

Padel has taken over Cairo, and the clubs that opened first are now competing on what happens after the match. A single tub and forty members is not a recovery zone.

Indicative band: 320 – 720 thousand EGP, supplied and installed in Egypt.

Recovery zones for gyms and padel clubs

Peak, not membership

Size on the ninety minutes after the evening bookings end. Two to four minutes in the water plus changeover gives ten to fifteen people per tub per hour, so a busy Cairo club needs three or four positions.

Court bookings come in blocks, which makes club demand spikier than a gym's. We usually recommend one more tub and a smaller sauna than the owner first imagines.

Water on the floor, and the slab under it

Falls to a channel drain, a non-slip surface that survives chlorine, and a towel point that stops people walking wet across the courts. A 900-litre tub is nearly a tonne before anyone gets in, so on a suspended floor we ask for the slab detail before quoting.

Hygiene in a hot climate

Warm ambient accelerates everything that grows in water. Circulation, cartridge filtration and ozone or UV are mandatory on shared tubs here, plus a rinse shower at the entry point and a visible cleaning schedule.

In short

  • 10–15 people per tub per hour at peak — count the squad, not the roster
  • Channel drain, falls, non-slip floor that survives chlorine
  • Slab checked before quoting: a 900 l tub is nearly a tonne
  • Ozone or UV mandatory on shared water in this climate
Questions

Gym & club zones in Egypt

How many tubs does a padel club need?

Three or four for a busy evening. Bookings end in blocks and everyone arrives at once.

Can we add a sauna later?

Plan the power and the drainage now. Retrofitting a three-phase run through a finished floor costs more than the cabin.

What does it cost to run?

Chiller electricity is the main line and it is strongly seasonal. We give you a monthly figure with the quote.
