Saunas & cold plunges in Port Harcourt

Port Harcourt is the wettest and most humid of our main markets, and a great deal of its best housing is corporate rather than private.

Port Harcourt, Nigeria

Delta humidity is relentless

It rains here for much of the year and the air never dries. Ventilation is the dominant design decision in any enclosed installation: humidistat-controlled extract ducted genuinely outside, drained and vented cavities, ventilated voids under cabins and sealed filtered plant enclosures.

Marine-grade specification throughout, because brackish delta air is as aggressive as coastal air and considerably more persistent.

Corporate housing changes the paperwork

Much of what we install here is in company-held residences. That means demountable specifications, formal quotation and phased invoicing, an operating manual, a service schedule and a named contact for a facilities team that will change personnel before the warranty expires.

We write the handover documentation for the organisation as well as for the person who will actually use the room.

Self-sufficient by default

Properties here run substantial generator and inverter capacity as a matter of course. The work is the same as in Lagos — sequence the loads, verify the changeover circuits, schedule the heater — and the systems are often larger, which widens the options rather than narrowing them.

Questions

Port Harcourt: what people ask

Is the humidity a problem for a sauna?

For the building fabric, yes, and the answer is ventilation and drained cavities. For the sauna itself, no.

Can you invoice a company?

Yes, with formal quotation, phased invoicing and full handover documentation.
