Saunas & cold plunges in Wuse II

Wuse II is Abuja's commercial centre, and most of our work here is gyms, clubs and hotels rather than houses.

Wuse II, Nigeria

Throughput is the number that matters

Two to four minutes in the water plus changeover gives ten to fifteen people per tub per hour. Size on your busiest hour rather than your membership list, and expect to need one more position than you first imagined.

Most Abuja clubs that come to us with a two-tub plan leave with three, because the evening peak is sharper here than owners expect.

Hygiene in a warm room

Circulation, cartridge filtration and an ozone or UV stage are mandatory, and a rinse shower at the entry point turns a weekly water change into a monthly one. In a commercial installation a visible cleaning schedule with a name against it does more for water quality than any equipment upgrade.

Continuity and floors

The whole zone goes on circuits the changeover feeds — a club whose ice baths are warm every time the grid drops has an ice bath nobody trusts.

Falls to a channel drain, a non-slip surface that survives chlorine, and a slab check before we quote anything holding water. Several gyms here are on upper floors, and that check is not optional.

Questions

Wuse II: what people ask

How many tubs do we need?

Size on your busiest hour. Most clubs here need three rather than the two they planned.

Our gym is on the first floor. Can we still do it?

With a structural check, usually yes. We get it done before quoting.
