Recovery is the actual demand

Kiters ride for hours in wind and sun and arrive at a plunge with genuine muscle load. The tubs we build here are used harder and more often than anywhere else on the island — several people an hour, every afternoon, in season.

That means throughput and hygiene, not luxury. Circulation, cartridge filtration, an ozone or UV stage and a rinse shower at the entry point, which is what turns a weekly water change into a monthly one.

Sand is a second enemy

Salt is constant here and sand is constant too. Sand ruins a cartridge quickly and abrades a pump seal, so the rinse point is not a nicety — it is the reason the filtration lasts. Plant sits raised, enclosed and filtered.

Guesthouse economics

Most properties here are small guesthouses rather than resorts. A single well-built plunge, a compact cabin and an honest running cost do more for bookings than an expensive suite that has to be priced into the room rate.
