New build is the cheap moment

Most of this work happens while the house is going up. Putting the drainage, the three-phase run and a level plinth in while the ground is open costs a fraction of retrofitting them, and it means the wellness suite can be completed a year later without breaking anything.

We would rather talk to your architect than be handed a finished room with no drain in it.

Designing towards the mountains

The view south is the Atlas, snow-capped for a good part of the year. We orient the glass and the plunge towards it and put the solid walls to the west against the afternoon sun, which is both the better picture and the lower running cost.

Estate rules

Golf estates here have their own standards for external works, plant noise and contractor hours. We prepare the submission — drawing, elevation, plant position and a noise figure — because a cabin refused after delivery is an expensive way to learn the rules.
