Service, repairs and second lives

What a visit includes

Sauna: stones out, sorted, turned or replaced, element resistance checked, thermostat and overheat cut-out tested, bench fixings tightened, timber cleaned, vents cleared.

Steam: generator descaled to an interval set by your actual water, probe cleaned, trap flushed, silicone checked, extract tested. Plunge: condenser cleaned, pressures read, cartridge changed, ozone cell checked, water tested.

Plus, every visit: a corrosion inspection of every fixing, hinge, latch and enclosure, and a check of the cyclone anchorage.

The spares kit

We leave a small box on site with the parts that fail most and their numbers: an element, a thermostat, a cartridge, hose seals, a handful of A4 fixings. On this island that box turns a three-week wait into a ten-minute job, and it costs very little.

Refurbishment

An old cabin with a sound shell is usually worth re-lining rather than replacing. We also retrofit cyclone anchorage to installations that never had any, which is a common job here and a cheap one compared with what it prevents.
