Naivasha is Nairobi's weekend lake: houses and small lodges used hard on Saturday and empty midweek, with water that needs testing before anything is specified.
Borehole chemistry
Much of Naivasha is on borehole supply, and Rift Valley groundwater can carry high fluoride and dissolved solids. That changes the steam generator specification completely and it is not something to discover after commissioning.
We test at the property first. Sometimes the right answer is treatment before the generator; occasionally it is a different generator entirely.
Intermittent use
A suite used two days a week needs a control strategy rather than a switch: a scheduler so the cabin is warm on arrival, a holding setpoint on the plunge rather than switching it off, and a dry-down routine after the last session.
Dust and lake humidity together
The valley is dusty in the dry season and humid near the water. Washable pre-filters for the dust, and proper extract for the humidity — an unusual combination that catches out equipment specified for one or the other.
