What an apartment can actually take
An infrared cabin plugs into an ordinary socket and needs nothing else. A small convection cabin at 6-8 kW is possible where the supply and cable allow, on a dedicated circuit; above that it is an application, which is worth doing only if you own.
We measure the lift car, the landing turn and the door before quoting. A panel that will not turn on a landing is an expensive lesson.
No drain, no water above neighbours
Anything wet above somebody else's ceiling needs a structural opinion and a tanked floor, and in most Kilimani flats the honest answer is a dry cabin and a cold shower rather than a plunge.
Altitude helps here too
Even an infrared cabin benefits from Nairobi's cool evenings, because the room it stands in is cooler than the same room would be at the coast. Sessions here are more comfortable than in Mombasa for exactly that reason.
